Give thanks for what you are now, and keep fighting for what you want to be tomorrow.

Ten Years From Now????

Future. It is a serious topic to be talked about. Every time I reflect on what my future might be, and my goals in life, there is an unusual feeling that comes in me. A slight feeling of being afraid, scared, worried, and confused. I have any plans for myself. All I need are just the strength to keep me strong in achieving all of my dreams, and the guidance of the people around me and of the Almighty Father.
After a number of months left of my life as a high school student is a wide range of world waiting ahead. Two grading periods left and I am going to graduate and shall pursue a course of my choice. College is a preparation for my future. I want to take up Accountancy. I can foresee my self earning money helping my family. Ten years from now, I think I am already a professional. I can do all of my wants but still striving hard for my needs. At that moment I am already independent and responsible enough to govern my life and handle situations (maybe…just maybe getting into a semi-serious relationship).
But, I am planning that after I have help and settled my family, I want to proceed in serving the Lord. The first thing that comes into my mind since I am still young every time people ask me of what I want to become when I grow up, Is that, I want to be a “nun” someday. I want to wear very white clothing (such a funny childish reason). But now, If you are going to ask me what my reason is, my answer would be simple. I want to devote my self wholly to the Lord (by serving Him and other people). Also in this way, I can preserve my virginity and maintain my purity(physically and both in mind, heart and soul). Each one of us has our own goals in life. We are still students and have to climb, more mountains in order for us to reach our destinations. We must be determined enough in order to make every possibilities happen. We must trust and believe in ourselves to turn our dreams into reality. The most important thing is we must always look up for God’s guidance and must not forget Him.

Teen-age Marriage

Teen-age Marriage.
The teens of today are facing a new phase of their lives. Not all but most of the teens are engaging in a so called teenage marriage. This is one of the issues which are thought to be a problem of most of the teens. This phenomenon happens mostly because of early pregnancy. Teens who are involved seem to experience a kind of misery in their lives. They haven’t finished their studies thus have big problems on how to look for a stable job to support the needs of their family. They are not mature enough to handle different situations and can make right decisions for the future of their children and for their family. Engaging in this situation can really do change and affect your life especially your future. I am not in favor for this kind of marriage. We must not hurry to get in a married life. We must think many times before making a decision. We must wait for our turn because the right time will come. I’ sure, in that right time, we are already at the right age and we are ready enough to start a life with a family
